Joseph & Michelle Quinn, DVM
Dr. Joe established TEGAC in 1991 with Dr. Chelly joining in the practice soon after. They have enjoyed growing the practice and serving the area in various capacities with Dr. Joe being a Sunnyvale school board member and volunteer middle school football coach. Dr. Chelly is on the Board of Directors of Search One Rescue Team, is a founder of Sunnyvale Raider Pride Booster Club and served on the Mesquite Animal Shelter committee. She also became certified as a Canine Rehabilitation Therapist in 2015. Both give their time to the service dogs of Canine Companions for Independence by performing physicals and PennHIP X-rays to ensure their soundness prior to being placed. The Quinn’s have three grown children - Clay, Jill (now married to Tanner Tutle), and Josh - all with careers or studying to serve in human health fields. Their four-legged family includes Cooper, a golden retriever- Dr. Chelly's running buddy, and Harley, a senior lab. They enjoy travel, hiking, skiing and pretty much anything outdoors.

Leah Lobnitz, DVM
Dr. Leah Marie Lobnitz grew up in Sunnyvale, Texas. She is a graduate of Sunnyvale Junior High and North Mesquite High School. She earned a Biology degree from Morehead State University in Kentucky, which she attended on a tennis scholarship. She continued on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2015. Dr. Leah loves reading, anything pertaining to the great outdoors, and spending time with her family. She has two dogs, Ady Gil (pictured) & Gem, and a one-eyed cat, Pirate. She has been a member of the TEGAC family since 2009. She looks forward to meeting you and caring for your furry loved ones.

Christina Gietema, DVM
Dr. Christina Gietema grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she also played volleyball for the Lady Mocs. She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2017. Shortly after graduating veterinary school, she got married and then moved to Texas. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants and traveling with her husband, Thomas. She also enjoys relaxing at home with her two fur babies who both turned 14 this year! Penny is a red/white mixed breed dog, and Snowy is a white short-haired cat. Dr. Christina is excited to join the TEGAC family and looks forward to meeting you and getting to know your furry friends.

Stephanie Williams, DVM
Dr. Stephanie Williams grew up in Grapevine, TX. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2012 with a double-major in Entomology and Biomedical Sciences. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She shares her home with a yorkiepoo named Daisy, a tortoiseshell named Marble, a three-legged tabby named Oliver, and a Russian tortoise named Tortellini. She is getting married in March to her fiancé Tyler who is an 8th grade history teacher in Mesquite at ACNEW. Her special interests include: preventative medicine and soft tissue surgery. Dr.Stephanie is looking forward to meeting your fur babies and giving them great medical care!

Lauren Merrell serves as the Practice Manager for Town East Galloway Animal Clinic and Creek Crossing Animal Clinic. She has a Doberman, Cody, and a Dachshund, Ethyl, that join her at work most days. Lauren has always been passionate about veterinary medicine and customer service which makes this her dream job! If you ever have any concerns, please reach out to Lauren.

Mindy Hambleton became a full-time groomer for TEGAC in 1991 after completing VTI Grooming School the year prior. Mindy loves making the dogs look and fee great. Mindy does a great job reading the dogs and making sure they are not anxious while getting groomed. At home she has three dogs; Rex, Chloe, Prince as well as a cat, Kitty.

Jo is the office manager for TEGAC and has been a part of the team since 1991, resulting in 30 years in the veterinary industry. She loves both the animals and people and has an amazing memory when it comes to remembering clients and their pets. She attended and graduated from Cooke County College. She has lots of fur babies at home including Carly and JC as well as her cats, Lucy, Ty, Alister, Gonzo, and Heathcliff. Her grandaughter, Violet, also recently started living with her full-time which keeps her young.
Janna McConn joined the TEGAC team in March of 1997 as a kennel technician but chose to become a receptionist pretty quickly. She appreciates that there is never a dull moment in the veterinary industry, every day is different and there is never a dull moment. Janna received a Bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Kansas. She currently shares her home with a stray dog, Hazey joined the family.

Carrie is a licensed veterinary technician. She graduated from Cedar Valley College in 1997 with an Associates of Veterinary Technology. She has known the Quinn's since 1995. She is married and has 2 four legged babies at home. One is a beagle/lab mix named Seagate and the other is a boxed named Linux. She currently works primarily as a receptionist but also handles inventory and helps out as a technician too. "I love working with animals and getting to know all of our wonderful clients!"

Michelle started working at TEGAC in 2010 and has been in the veterinary industry for six years. Her favorite part about being a receptionist at TEGAC is meeting new people and seeing all of the pets. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1992. She has one dog, Baby Boy, who lives up to his name.
Veronica joined the TEGAC family in October of 2016. She is currently attending Cedar Valley to become a registered veterinary technician so she can work hands on with animals everyday. She is married and is expecting her first two legged baby in January. She also has four fur babies, Bruno, Mia, Pilaf and Shu-Shu. She is passionate about serving animals and loves meeting them each day at work. Her hobbies include drawing and cuddling with her fur babies.
Mel began working at TEGAC as a veterinary technician in 2009 but has been in the veterinary industry for the past 11 years. She really enjoys working with the animals and helping educate people to ensure they can take the best possible care of their pets. Mel received an Associates degree in business from Midwestern State University. One of Mel's greatest strengths is easing the anxiety of both the pet and the owner by providing strong patient care. At home she has two dogs: Taz and Rosie.
Jessica joined TEGAC in the fall of 2013. Before moving to the Dallas area, she worked as a technician in San Antonio. Jessica is often referred to as the cat whisperer because cats respond really well to her. At home, Jessica has a son, Daylyn and daughter, Saige.
Courtney joined TEGAC in 2014. She is born and raised in Dallas, Tx. She graduated from Texas State University in 2012 with an Bachelors of Animal Science degree but knew small animals are more her thing. Her favorite part about being a technician at TEGAC is ensuring all animals are treated as if her own and helping clients do what’s best for their pets. At home Courtney has 3 furbabies: Chocolate Chip (lab mix), Bentley (mini dachshund), and Lyzah (dachshund).

Martiza Perez began working at Town East Galloway Animal Clinic in the spring of 2015 after receiving her Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology. She works as a technician and often helps translate with our Spanish speaking clients. She is married to her high school sweet heart and they have three children as well as birds, fish and cats. She is confident that working with animals is her calling in life.

Katie is a technician at Town East Galloway Animal Clinic and has been a part of of the family for the past 12 years. However, you will only find her at the clinic part of the week as she is also a stay at home mom to her two kiddos, Emry (7yrs) and Henry (2yrs). Other that her two legged babies, Katie also cares for her two ducks, Dafney and AFLAC and her six dogs including: Blue, Phillie, Vinny, Hank, Buddy and Penny. Katie loves working with animals and feels that she is doing exactly what she has been called to do. Katie does a great job of listening to the owners and being sympathetic to the pets.
Emily was hired in the fall of 2015 as a Kennel Technician/Technician Assistant while attending the Cedar Valley College Veterinary Technician program. She was born and raised right here in Mesquite, Texas. Since graduating with her associates degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology, she has been promoted to Veterinary Technician. Emily strives to provide the best customer service possible while making our clients feel like family. In Emily's spare time, she attends to her fur babies which include: Titan (Pitbull/Lab mix), Missy (German Shepherd/Husky), Elsa the Chiweenie and Chevy a recently rescued Pitbull. She attends to her immediate family's pets as well. Emily is the youngest in her family and an aunt to six handsome nephews and one beautiful niece.

Molly became a TEGAC team member in March 2016. She loves cats and has recently become known as one of our resident cat whisperers. She has a five year old daughter that keeps her busy. She is most passionate about animal behavior.
Chelsey joined our team in March 2016. She has been working in this field for a year and a half before joining our practice. She is currently CVA certified but is working towards vet school to specialize in dermatology. She has a five year old Blue Lacy named Lea and a one year old Shar Pei mix named Sirius Black at home. Both pets have anxiety issues but since implementing Fear Free tactics, Chelsey has noticed a difference by making her pets and others feel safer about their visit to TEGAC.
Shivani Patel joined Town East Galloway Animal Clinic in August of 2016. Her goal is to become a licensed veterinary technician. She loves working iwth animals and has a Beagle/Terrier mix at home. Outside of work, she stays busy with her four year old daughter.
Brooke joined TEGAC the summer of 2016 as a Kennel Technician. Brooke does a great job making sure all of the pets in her care feel at home and gets lots of love. She is very detail oriented and keeps the kennels clean and smelling great. Her goal is to gain experience and become a licensed Veterinary Assistant. In her free time she loves to go hiking with her boyfriend and lab Duke.
Cassie Franks was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She has a loving husband and two handsome little boys. She has had her dental assisting license for a little over four years but realized her passion is helping animals. She loves dogs and riding horses. She plans on attending school to become a veterinary technician.
Nicole Stafford started working with TEGAC in 2017. She is currently apart of Future Farmers of America (FFA) and carries this passion with her everywhere. She shows both goats and cattle through the FFA and holds officer positions in this organization. Nicole is enrolled at Sunnyvale High School, and plans to become a Large Animal Veterinarian. She three pygmy goats names Dakota, Squeakers, and Diesel and also has two dogs, a husky named Reno and a great Pyrenees named Winter and a rabbit named Thumper.
Sara Quintero began working at Town East Galloway Animal Clinic in the month of March 2017. She is currently in school working toward her career in veterinary technology. She loves working with the animals and making sure their comfortable and feel at home at all times. She has a strong passion for animals and will always have that passion.
Kevin joined Town East Galloway Animal Clinic in August of 2015. Since joining TEGAC, he has brought with him his great sense of humor and contagious smile. He takes pride in making sure all of the animals are well cared for and get lots of attention. He is known as the birthday king because he believes everyone's birthday should be a huge celebration.
Katie joined the Town East-Galloway Animal Clinic in 1999. She now is a relief staff member but we love having her here! She has a large mix of two legged and four legged children at home.
Karis Finch joined TEGAC in 2018 as a kennel technician. She is a full-time student at Sunnyvale High School, graduating in 2019. She loves spending time outdoors and relaxing with her own two little dogs at home.
